Julie Tressler is a long time resident of the City of Cumming. She has been involved in the local community from the day her oldest began attending Cumming Elementary School and has not looked back since.
Julie is the Chairman of Keep Forsyth County Beautiful, Member of Cumming Civitan, Board of Directors for Forsyth County Community Connection, President of The Republican Women of Forsyth County and on the Executive Committee of Forsyth County Republican Party, She has also held leadership roles with the local PTO (Former Cumming Elementary President), Local School Council, youth soccer, non-profits, and many others.
Julie is proud of the Conservative reputation that we have in the City of Cumming. She is an advocate for smaller government, lower taxes, and transparent government.

Her son Harrison is a graduate of Forsyth Central High School (FCHS). He is currently a student at the University of Georgia.
Daughter Marlie will graduate from FCHS this year and has been accepted to Georgia Southern University.
Julie is the proud owner of two dogs and two cats. She is a long time small business owner, avid gardener, and enjoys reading as many books as time allows. Julie attends Bethelview United Methodist Church.
